TENTATIVE AGENDA

  • 8:30-9 a.m.: Registration
  • 9 a.m.: Mass
  • 9:30 a.m.: Continental breakfast, welcome
  • 9:40-10:20 a.m.: Talk: Authentic Hope and what's in it for us
  • 10:30-noon: Quiet time or small group discussion (attendee choice)
  • Noon: Lunch
  • 1-1:20 p.m.: Talk: How to keep hope strong in times of betrayal, uncertainty, and loss
  • 1:30-3 p.m.: Quiet time or small group discussion (attendee choice)
  • 3:15 p.m.: Sending forth/closing prayer


 


Rose Folsom, a Lay Dominican and founder of the Virtue Connection, will share two talks written to speak directly to the hearts and souls of women like us. There will be time for quiet contemplation or small group discussions after each talk.

  • The $65 registration fee includes continental breakfast, lunch, snacks and materials.
  • Registration will close February 19. Registration is limited to 60 participants. Registrations with credit card payments may be madehereIf you prefer, print out the form and mail it and a check to Future with Hope Women, 4201 Wilson Blvd. #110328, Arlington, VA 22203.
  • Due to another event at the center, sleeping rooms are not available. However, you can receive a special $65 rate at Winchester's Sleep Inn & Suites, just a 10-minute drive away. Call 540-667-7636 by February 1 and ask for the Future with Hope Women's Day of Reflection rate.
  • Refunds will be issued only if Bishop Michael Burbidge issues a Mass dispensation for the weekend due to inclement weather, or if fewer than 20 women are registered by February 19.
